When you say library, many people think only of checking out books for reading. Our library has a large number of books to read for all age groups. These include (but are not limited to): easy readers, juvenile, young adult, and adult. Many reference books line the shelves for both juveniles and adults. We have many non-fiction books on subjects such as cooking, sewing, repairs and building, vacation guides and points of interest. We also carry a variety of magazines, which are available for check out.

We have a large collection of videos for both pleasure and education. Children enjoy the benefit of being allowed to choose what they enjoy viewing. Many of he young at heart also enjoy our Disney collection.
Patrons are encouraged to apply for a library card. This is easy and free, and a card is a must if you wish to check out any materials.

Our library provides a fax machine for the use of our patrons, and we have three computers for public use. These computers have Internet access. There is a sign up sheet available at our front desk, and we do have a time limit. This is enforced when the computers are busy.

Our library also has a genealogy section. Many people can search for their "roots" in the comfort of our library through Family Record books, or by using our microfilm reader-printer.

Here is what we say:

"Come in, browse and look,
In the mood for a magazine or book
A movie for all the family tonight
Would give the children such delight.
Use the fax for quick questions and response
Take the worry out of waiting months. The computer use can be for much:
Reports, information, travel tips and such.
Wonder about your family tree
Look in a book or on our film to see.
Patrons with library cards are a treasure
Helping the public know more is our pleasure."
